VILLAGE POST OFFICE & SHOP    

The Village Shop is tolocated in Hill Farm Caravan Park in Branches Lane and stocks a wide range of everyday essentials.

Daily newspapers are available and may be reserved but not delivered.

 

TRANSPORT

Glebe Garage is on the main A27 through the village and supplies fuel, is an MOT centre and does servicing and repairs to vehicles. 01794 322358

 

The nearest rail station is in Romsey, and lies on the Southampton - Salisbury- Bristol line.

Bins currently emptied on Thursday - alternately Brown (for recycling) and Black (general waste). Speak to a neighbour who will have the calendar showing collections.

 

LINK SCHEME

This is a small charitable organisation run by a team of volunteers offering assistance to anyone with a genuine need. It is a ‘good neighbour’ scheme to provide transport, caring and other practical help across twelve local villages including Sherfield English.
