Sherfield English Recreation Project 2000
SERP 2000 is the umbrella group for everything to do with the Sports Field, which was created from scratch a few years ago. This impressive facility, the envy of every village in the Test Valley, is located on the corner of Steplake Road and the A27, just by the Post Office. In addition to the sports facilities there is an outdoor children's activity area, and various events are held throughout the year. The main annual event is a Fun Day and Dog Show in August, but there are many others, such as a Fireworks & Bonfire Night

Children's Gardening Project
This community activity got off to a great started in 2008, and now has a strong following with as many as 30 children. We use plots kindly provided by Gilbert's Nursery - next to the Dahlia field. There are sections for both vegetables and flowers. All children in and around the village are invited to take part on Saturday mornings. Contact Smita Kulkarni 01794 340 379 or email.
